Application for Change Management in the SAP System

This thesis describes implementation of HR change management processes of company ABB in ERP system SAP. Due to highly specific requirements for applications, standard component Personnel Change Request was not used. Authorized applicants have access to applications via SAP NetWeaver Portal. Approvers decide about approval or rejection of requests in Universal Worklist component of SAP NetWeaver Portal. Requests that require processing in HR Center are processed by employees of HR Center in SAP ERP. Applications that can be accessed via SAP NetWeaver portal were programmed with useage of framework Web Dynpro for ABAP. Processes are controlled by SAP Business Workflow.

Tool for Payment Format Definition Debugging

The main goal of this thesis is to develop and demonstrate a tool for debugging payment formats that would make it easier for users of the DMEEX transaction (program) to detect bugs in definition trees. Demonstration of the debugging tool is implemented on the SAP S / 4HANA platform. The first part of this thesis describes the platforms SAP R / 3 and SAP S / 4HANA, with emphasis on capturing the differences between them. Furthermore, the purpose of payment formats and their integration within SAP systems is discussed. The design describes the collection and work with user requirements for this tool. The implemented product allows users to visualize the processing of the DMEEX transaction definition tree, thanks to which it allows its users to more easily detect errors in the definition of the tree or in its input data.

SAP Modul for Encoding Invoices to QR Codes

The master's thesis deals with encoding payment data invoices into QR codes in accordance with the by square standard. The SAP system along with a process of encoding data into QR codes and by square PAY standard is introduced in my thesis. In compliance with the standard function module is designed for the SAP system which is in the ABAB language, using Smartforms form allowing the QR codes to generate the invoice. The module is then subjected to testing. The results are evaluated in conclusion of the master's thesis and a description of potential further development is assessed as a final step.

SAP Reporting with the Use of In-memory Database

The master's thesis deals with the in-memory database SAP HANA which keeps all data directly in main memory with the use of column-oriented data layout. Practical part of the thesis consists in development of application in SAP R/3 environment, with which performance of the in-memory database SAP HANA and the traditional database MaxDB is compared, including influence of used data layout. The results show that the in-memory database is advantageous especially for analytical operations based on aggregate functions.

SAP HANA Platform

Tato práce pojednává o databázi pracující v paměti nazývané SAP HANA. Detailně popisuje architekturu a nové technologie, které tato databáze využívá. V další části se zabývá porovnáním rychlosti provedení vkládání a vybírání záznamů z databáze se stávající používanou relační databází MaxDB. Pro účely tohoto testování jsem vytvořil jednoduchou aplikaci v jazyce ABAP, která umožňuje testy provádět a zobrazuje jejich výsledky. Ty jsou shrnuty v poslední kapitole a ukazují SAP HANA jako jednoznačně rychlejší ve vybírání dat, avšak srovnatelnou, či pomalejší při vkládání dat do databáze. Přínos mé práce vidím v shrnutí podstatných změn, které s sebou data uložená v paměti přináší a názorné srovnání rychlosti provedení základních typů dotazů.

Application for Verification of Data Accuracy in the SAP HCM Module

Main goal of this bachelors thesis is to show issue of data checking in system SAP. Since this system is extensive, it is nearly impossible to control the data manually. In this bachelor thesis I am describing particular proposals for improving the processes including their use in practice. This bachelor thesis is divided into three parts. In first part is mentioned necessary theory used for implementing application for data checking. Next I describe particular important data dividing with proposal of class and domain diagram. In last part of thesis I pay attention to realization and programming itself in programming language ABAP.

Fuzz Testing of Applications Communicating via the OData Protocol

Delivering stable and reliable software to customers is difficult. Applications are prone to errors, regardless of the experience level of the developers. Automated testing methods and tools are heavily used in all phases of development life-cycle to reduce chances of bugs escaping to the users. The goal of this thesis is to design an intelligent and automated testing tool which is able to test business applications. A mishandled action performed within such an application may cause a failure with disastrous consequences. To simulate these actions, one can use testing where test cases contain invalid or random data. This testing technique is called fuzzing or fuzz testing, and it involves providing malformed or mutated data as an input to the program. The proposed tool, namely ODfuzz, is a fuzzing tool ready to test applications communicating via the OData protocol which is a protocol built on existing HTTP and REST methodologies. ODfuzz is generating and fuzzing requests that are to be sent to the server. The requests contain mutated data that pass through various code paths and may result into an application error. ODfuzz was used to test back-end modules of modern SAP applications written in the ABAP language.

Application for Generating and Printing of Labels in the SAP System

The goal of this diploma thesis is the design and implementation of an application for generating and printing address labels in the SAP system. The work also explains the basic concepts of the SAP system and describes the technologies for creating print forms as SAP Adobe Form and SAP SmartForm. Lastly, it describes the solution of printing 1D and 2D barcodes and setting up the communication between the SAP system and the printer. The result of this work is an analysis of form creation, subsequent design of a solution for generating forms as address label, sheet of 21 address labels, Czech Post delivery notes, Czech Post delivery sheet and its implementation in the SAP system. The conclusion of the work is testing the created solution and proposing future improvements.

Migration Framework in SAP System

The goal of this diploma thesis is to analyze process of migration data within the scope of SAP systems. Based on this analysis suitably desing and implement migration framework that will be used for migration of data between SAP systems. Entire migration framework and migration proces is built on technological platform SAP NetWeaver and is implemented in programming language ABAP. Functionality of the framework is presented by the case study that is represented by proper data set.
